Idag var det åter dags för bröst, axlar och triceps passet. Det blev extra fokus på pressar. Mycket bänkpress följt av ”fötterna upp” bänkpress och smalbänkpress. Allt för att bättra på chanserna att fixa 90kg om några månader! Tekniken blir bättre och bättre och Uffe börjar bli bekvämare med lyften.
Efter det var det dags att öka tempot lite! Vi provade på både ett mäktigt dropset vid sidolyften och 3 gigantset när det var dags för triceps! Varianter som dropset, superset och gigantset är väldigt roliga att blanda in i sin träning ibland. Man får en hiskelig puls, pump och kontakt i musklerna på bekostnad av vikten man lyfter, som oftast blir något lägre. För att förklara närmare:
Superset: 2 övningar i följd utan nämnvärd vila emellan.
Gigantset: 3 eller fler övningar i följd utan nämnvärd vila emellan.
Dropset: Använd först en vikt som du klara t.e.x 10 reps på. Så fort du inte orkar mer så sänk vikten några snäpp och kör till du inte orkar mer. Gör detta 1 till 2 gånger.
Alla dessa varianter innebär att man hinner mycket träning på kort tid. Vikten på övning 2, vid superset, eller 2 och 3, vid giganset, blir dock betydligt lägre än om man tränar ”som vanligt”. Man skall dock veta att detta är ingenting som man bör göra varje pass eftersom det kräver betydligt mer återhämtning. Men det är grymt kul!
